Characters:
Alto Saotome (早乙女 アルト) - A young pilot recently accepted into S.M.S. Skull Squadron of Macross Frontier's fleet. Alto is aloof and sometimes harsh, but he is loyal to his friends and willing to fight for them. He dreams of flying in a "real" sky, and is the focal point of a love triangle with Sheryl and Ranka.
